We had a family outing to Whole Foods yesterday. It’s the only place in town that I know we can find Drew’s Brews Coffee. Oh, man that’s some wonderful coffee. I still love my Bongo Java of course, but Drew’s is a refreshing change. We accidentally bought some Seattle’s Best from a discount bin recently and it was terrible stuff. Naturally, Drew’s was a welcome change to our mornings.

Why all of this talk about coffee? It’s National Coffee Day of course! I learned of this on Twitter this morning, but I’m still trying to figure out the source of this information. There’s a piece today on Slashfood about it, plus a post on Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea. Although, it doesn’t seem to be a regular calendar holiday.

Either way, I’m happy to report that I won’t feel guilty for consuming far too much coffee today. Now I just need to find an excuse every other day of the week. :-)
